When veteran star-actor Jerzy (the excellent Jan Nowicki) appears at the door of Skolimow Retirement Home for Actors, it is clear that the monotonous routine of the Home has come to an end. Old passions are revived, new rivalries arise, and then, the residents decide to stage a play: "Faust" by Goethe.
The film's cast is an impressive list of the greatest Polish actors of the past few decades, both in films and on stage. Jacek Blawut, an experienced documentary filmmaker, created a fiction film full of humour love for the theatre, the actors and the joy of life.
