"Art is for everyone!" was Keith Haring's mantra, and few will fail to recognize his art now: Haring became one of the most popular and significant artists of the 20th century. The film is an intimate portrait of the world-renowned artist, his life and his career, which started with chalk drawings in the subways of New York and ended few years later when he died of AIDS at the age of 31.
The film features archival footage and interviews with many of his friends, among them Madonna, Yoko Ono, Grace Jones and Andy Warhol.
